It was midnight but, the girls were gathered together in Mikasa's and [F/n]'s room, having the usual girls' talk.

"Hey, have you guys thought of getting married?" Everyone stared at Sasha as if she had suddenly announced that she decided to give up eating.

"Hah? Do you know where we are?"

"She's right. How can we even think of that?" Some of the girls nodded in agreement.

Christa raised her tiny hand and piped up, "B-but, imagine being in a white wedding dress..." Eventually, everyone started describing their ideal wedding attire.

On the other hand, [F/n] who was seated crossed-leg on her bed, pulled out her sketchbook and started sketching the dream dresses of her friends as she listened closely to them describing.

"As for me, I prefer wearing a tux that matches Christa's!!" Ymir exclaimed and placed an arm around the petite blonde's shoulders, earning some 'awww's from the others.

Smiling at the sweet idea, [F/n] sketched a figure of Ymir next to the bride Christa drawing, in a matching white tux. She was so focused on the drawing that she hadn't realize Ymir was calling out to her.

"Hey, [F/n]!! It's your turn!!"

"Huh? Pardon?"

"You know, your dream wedding dr-" Ymir stopped midway when she noticed the drawing of the dresses in [F/n]'s sketchbook. "Wow!! I didn't know you draw!! Girls, look at this!!"

In no time, everyone was crowding around the [h/c] girl, trying to have a look at her sketches.

"Wow!! This is exactly like how I had imagined it to be!!"

"Oh my God!!! [F/n]!! You're so talented!!"

"It's so beautiful, [F/n]..."

[F/n] could only smiled sheepishly at her friends while Mikasa gave her roommate a small smile, knowing of how [F/n] would spend her free time drawing in her sketchbook.

"Why the hell are you brats not in bed?!"

"Corporal!! It's my fault!!" the [h/c] cadet quickly stood up, causing the sketchbook on her lap to drop to the floor. "A-ah!"

Before she could reach for the book, the Corporal, who's much faster, took it and his silver orbs scanned through the page, where [F/n] had sketched the other females' dream dresses.

"The rest of you back to your rooms," the black-haired male dismissed the others and slowly, they started leaving the room, giving her apologetic looks and muttering some 'sorry'.

Turning to [F/n], he continued in his monotonous voice, "Cadet [L/n]. My office now." With that, Levi took the girl's sketchbook and returned to his office.

"[F/n]..," Mikasa grabbed the said-girl's shoulder, giving them a soft squeeze. "If he hurt you, [F/n], you must tell me. I'll make sure that short stuff regret even touching you!!"

Placing a hand on Mikasa's reassuringly, [F/n]  gave her a sad smile though deep down she felt nervous and scared, "It's okay, Mikasa. He's just probably going to lecture me or give me more cleaning duties. Don't worry."

"Explain this, cadet [L/n]." the Corporal placed the said-female's sketchbook on his desk. It was opened to show the sketches of the other girls' wedding dresses.

He was annoyed, probably due to the fact that she and the other girls were still up way past bedtime.

"We were just discussing about...marrying and our dream dresses..."

"[L/n]..." the [h/c] girl tensed as he continued, "You know very well that-"

"Yes, I do know that very well, Corporal!! But, I do believe everyone deserve to have dreams of their own!! If those beautiful dreams of theirs were to die...life would be meaningless. These dreams gives us the inspiration and motivation to fight!! To survive!!" Levi was irked when she cut him off but, the [h/c] cadet's sudden outburst had certainly caught him by surprise, which he expertly hid behind his stoic facade.

"Wow. Are you done with your speech, 'Commander' [F/n]?" he spoke when she ended her statement, his voice and features still void of emotion.

Looking down at her feet; her [h/c] tresses covering her [e/c] orbs, her voice faltered, "Even I have my dreams. And, because I have them, I'm still here today. Right here. Right now..."

"Then, what is this so called dreams of yours?"

Looking up to meet his dull hues, she stated with determination in her voice, "To free humanity from the Titan. To get out of these walls and to see the world outside."

"And...?"

"And??" [e/c] orbs blinked in confusion.

"Don't you fantasize like those brats? Falling in love and getting married."

"E-eh?...Ah, yes. I d-do sometimes," a tint of pink painted [F/n]'s face as she nodded,  "Of course, it is my dream to one day marry the man I love."

A gentle smile graced her lips when she thought of the man, whom she harbored this feeling known as 'Love' towards.

"I noted that you're gifted in drawing," Levi stated, flipping the sketchbook from the first page, showing drawings of cadets in their everyday life; Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Sasha and even, Hanji and Erwin.

However, there isn't a drawing of him. Not one. It made him wondered if she despised him.

He continued turning the pages. There were drawings of sceneries, the HQ, the mess hall, the town and then, the latest sketches. Her friends' dream wedding attires.

"I don't see yours here," he muttered, running a finger from the first figure to Ymir's.

Fidgeting with her fingers nervously, [F/n] answering, "W-well, I hadn't given a thought of that. Because, I would like to wear the one my fiancé thinks looks nice...So, I don't really have one...I guess..."

"Any dress would look nice...hell no, You would look gorgeous in anything...," he mumbled incoherently, trying to imagine her in a ivory wedding dress and veil, giving him that angelic smile she always wore.

"Don't let our dreams die, Levi. I know one day, they will come true."

Levi sat on the windowsill in their once shared bedroom alone, remembering [F/n]'s last words to him.

[F/n]'s death had affected the ebony-haired male to the point he had shut himself in his office, ignoring the knocks on the door, even  neglecting the condition of his messy office and bedroom.

His appearance itself showed how much her absence affected him. His dishevelled dark locks, unkempt clothes and dark rings under his eyes.  If he were to look at his own reflection , he would cringed in disgust at the sight.

He thought of the days when she would helped him with his paperwork or when she would be sitting on his couch, drawing away in her sketchbook. He remembered the days where he would watched her draw as he held her in his arms, on the bed and also the talk they had on which design would look good as her wedding dress.

He came to realized that the reason there was no drawings of him was because she can't stand looking at him without her face heating up or turning dark red. He was so relieved when he knew that she don't hate him but, instead loves him.

[F/n] and her words had changed him. Her dreams became his dreams. But, everything was destroyed when he lost her. He couldn't protect the one most important to him even though everyone deemed him Humanity's Strongest.

"What's the point of having dreams any more, [F/n]....when you're no longer right here with me..."

As he turned the pages of her latest sketchbook, he noticed the last page was covered by a piece of parchment and lifted the paper.

His dull eyes widened at the drawing hidden beneath the piece of paper. It was a drawing of him in a formal attire but, unlike the ones usually wore those living in Wall Sina. [F/n] knew he wouldn't like dressing like them. She kept it simple yet, it was beautiful . And, of course, she didn't forget his cravat. In the drawing, his expression was peaceful and he was smiling.

And, his arm was linked with a woman, elegantly dressed in a pure white gown. It was like the one they had decided on. She was holding a bouquet of red roses. It was her favourite flower and at times, he had to admit that they complemented her perfectly and that they matched the feelings he have for her.

But, when he saw that the bride's face wasn't drawn, the void feeling in his chest returned. It was left empty. She had always said that she wasn't confident enough to draw herself. Though he would always reassured her that she was the most beautiful person ever to appear in his life.

With a trembling hand picking up a pencil, he tried to remember the various different expressions she made; happy ones, sad ones, surprised ones and that one full of love for him. He was afraid of that one day that he'll forget how she looked like. The way her [e/c] orbs would lit up whenever she's happy. Her loving gaze directed at him alone. Her rosy lips that fitted perfectly against his own.

Mistakes after mistakes, he kept on trying to get her facial expressions the way he wanted. When it was finally finished, he ran a finger over her lovely and smiling face.

She would have been able to draw it better but, he'll have to make do with this. Though his skill was amateurish, he was able to get her features down. Just like the way he had first imagined her in a wedding dress.

Her name escaped his mouth in a whisper as he continued to trail her face until splatter of tears landed on it, creating dampness on the parchment.

To Levi,

If you're reading this, high chances are that I'm already well, up there looking down at you. I just want to tell you that I have came to love you to ever since the first time I met you. However, I could only admire at you from afar and countless times I wanted to draw you and your handsome features but, I just couldn't do it in fear that I might ruin the whole thing.

That's why I want you to know that, you, the man whom I love, telling me that you return my feelings is already a dream come true. I couldn't ask for anything more than this and yes, I have imagined being your bride and also imagined being married to you.

And, I know all too well that you love me very much. From the way you would hold me to the way you would always look out for me whenever we're outside the walls. I know if anything were to happen to me, you will not be able to take it. Just like how I had imagined if anything were to happen to you.

You have been so strong. Too strong, Rivaille.

But, please do not give up, my love. My last and selfish wish would be for you to not give up on the dreams that we once have. I may not be by your side and I know that my wish of wearing that dress on our wedding will never come true, but even if I'm long gone, please remember that I'll always be with you, in your heart. As the ones who love you, never leaves the heart.

Love, [F/n]
